This week I am thankful for health. Three of our friends are in the hospital for different reasons, all very serious. Some are on the mend, others have indefinite testing and outcomes. I was reminded this week of the very real fact that in 1993, I wrecked on a motorcycle, was the worst one in Fresno that year that lived, and here I am this morning, pretty able-bodied and with no significant lingering issues. And I realized that a long-term missions trip to Peru would not be in the picture if this was not the case.
What a glorious God we serve! He heals in His timing, often beyond our understanding or comprehension. And yet that timing is perfect. Thank you God for health, and for your continued hand on our lives.
