The Final Leg and Over the Border We Go

Well, Melissa and I and the kids are settling down in our new home for the next 4 months. We got through customs pretty quick, and again God was gracious there. The guy at the station asked me to open the back sliding door, and saw that Timothy's passport indicated his being born in Thailand. Said he loved Thailand and owned property there! Out of all the lanes to pick from...

Here are some pics from the trip. Had hoped to make it more memorable from a vacation standpoint, but we stop a lot for bathroom breaks, and never seemed to find the right exit for that....saw a lot of U-Turn opportunities though! A piece of advice - avoid downtown Seattle with a minivan pulling a trailer, and do not accept the wisdom of your GPS as gold, as it will send you off a bridge without thinking twice about it! (Otherwise, that thing is so COOL! Thanks to my HA Fresno friends for getting it for us!)

Seattle!

God is good - we are blessed to be here and miss you all. Feels wierd to be in a city where we really know very few people. We will seek them out tomorrow, and begin to find the nearest grocery store and Costco! School starts next Tuesday and we already have homework...

Take care.
