Oh well. It's part of the journey. I'm sure we'll get there eventually and I'm trusting God is the One holding our times in His hands. (Psalm 31:15) And honestly, I'm shocked at how at peace I am about it all. That I'm not fretting and obsessing over not knowing is proof of God's grace and the work He's done in me in this last year. I can hardly believe how much better I am handling not having a routine and not being in control of every detail. It amazes me. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO IS PRAYING FOR US!!!!! I have no doubt that is why we're still okay. : ) God is listening to you and responding. Thank you.
Of course, we still have some difficult weeks ahead of us. We haven't really had to say goodbye to anyone yet. (Cringe.) I'm normally a "tiptoe into the pool and pull the band-aid off slowly" kind of girl, but I don't know if it would be easier to drag the goodbye's out by saying goodbye to someone different every week or if it will be easier to do it more all at once. But for once in my life, I'm hoping the "get it over with quickly" approach will be better. We'll see. I'm trusting that to God as well. He knows when we're actually leaving so I'll leave scheduling the goodbye's to Him too.
And I'll keep remembering and looking forward to the HELLO's (or rather HOLA's!) we have waiting for us on the other side. That's what makes it all worth it. : )
