I wrote something on the plane last night, but it seems to have disappeared so for now some pics from my phone from the last 3 really long days will have to do. These have been the kind of weeks where at night you remember that day's breakfast and think "how could that only have been this morning???" In case you aren't in the loop either via our newsletter list or FB, let me update you: WE ARE IN PERU! : )
We drove away from Fresno on Tuesday, flew here Wednesday and spent our first day here today. (I think that makes today Thursday?) It's actually already after midnight here, but my body/brain hasn't quite adjusted to the time here yet, so here I am. Which means you get an update and a few pictures.
These kids have done such an AMAZING job. In spite of starting the week off with stomach ailments and not fully recovering before we had to start travelling, they have been troopers and I am so thankful for everyone who is praying for them and us and to God for answering. I KNOW it is all His grace being poured out on us.
At the parking lot where we said goodbye to Grandma & Grandad :(
Last night in California at the Inn
First plane!
Yogurt and fruit breakfast - pretty good for airplane food!
In Lima with our luggage! : ) (Minus the two bags that were missing at that point and another one you can't see from this angle.)
Can I tell you how AWESOME it is to have kids old enough to not have to be pushed in strollers, to be able to help carry stuff, to push carts, etc? SUPER AWESOME!!! : )
And in case you heard that we were missing 2 suitcases and haven't heard yet - they were both delivered to us tonight! Yahoo! And nothing seems to be missing. So thankful.
OK. I need to go to bed. Thank you SO SO SO much to everyone who is praying for us! More updates soon!

So glad to hear you've finally made it there! Those first days are such a whirlwind... but YOU DID IT!! And what a relief that your suitcases were returned. Praise the Lord!
Thinking of you guys as you settle into life in Peru :)
May He pour His abundant blessings on you.
