It is a wonderful experience to fly to another hemisphere, and in the home of someone you have never met, experience the sense of family. Here in Trujillo, a town of almost a million people, located in northern Peru, there are some wonderful people who, after less than 24 hours, are now family.
Our breakfast and lunch were hosted in the home of George R, the pastor of the church here and local businessman. We were welcomed into his home, his staff from the office assisted with internet issues, and we were given meals that were fit for a king! Here is George coming down the stairs of his home:
Tonight we will celebrate with the church at a prayer meeting, and tomorrow we leave on a bus to Piura, about 6 hours away. We have been blessed to be here, and are growing in our love of this people and place. Please continue to hold our travels up in your prayers, and our immediate family as we are apart. Take care.
